Kunas Dangaus by Garbanotas.

Creating this LP album cover was a passion project. After hearing the first draft records, I knew I had to be involved. So I partly funded the recording, the release and created the album cover for the record.

The album is an ode to melancholic solitude. I’ve listened to early records wandering myself through Porto’s deserted and foggy streets on rainy winter nights. The humid mystery of Porto’s streets and fading facades seeps into the drawing. I tried to create a contrast between the ethereal and the mundane, almost as if the figure ascended from the physical world into a dreamlike realm.
